    These towers actually won an international design award for technology. The outside covers actually open and close to filter out the suns rays.

      Hey Giasi! I didn't know they got an award but it doesn't suprise me! Whenever I drive to Yas island and see these towers, I'm always amazed. Lately, they seem to let the outside covers open pretty often. I think it's amazing! I need to take more pictures if I can :)

    This little control tower always makes me smile ... something about it being high above the crowd and historic ... perhaps it reminds me of a tree house.
